Mom had three dogs when she was really young ( i mean real young like at the age of 10ish) and mommy has always wanted to have dog in our family but daddy can't stand the mess and trouble. So my siblings and i have never spent much time with doggie.

When i was young (and once again i mean really young..like 10ish.. haha), i was really scared of dogs. That was mainly because of the way they jump onto u and also the fact that i could not understand what they were thinking. I was afraid of getting bitten and also I din really like the way they lick people. So unless it was a cute tiny harmless puppy, i would normally walked away from a dog and i always did it in a very obvious manner. And yes, just in case u r wondering, i was the kind of girl that screams when a dog comes close to her.

These few days/weeks, my roomie and I have taken up the responsibility to take care of Jackie (a friend's puppy) So while pris is away for her trip, I have to take care of poor jackie. I still gotta admit that I was really scared of her at first. She seemed so uncontrollably aggressive to me and I dreaded the time I visited her in her apartment and did not feel happy at all when i had to clean up her shit and mess.

As time goes by, Jackie is not as annoying as she seemed to be. She is just a kid asking for attention and some time to have fun. I began to understand the signs she gives, the message she tries to deliver through her eyes and how smart she actually is. Brought her out on sat to Venus Bay and that was the first time she got out of her place for about 2 weeks. She was so hard to control at first but after some time and some training, she was still manageable. She simply loved the walk by the beach and the attention of me and my friends. I could feel the joy within her and I was really glad that she had so much fun. I enjoyed bringing her out, watching her emotion/action. It was impossible and not right to control her to act in the way we would want her to, but she can be quite an angel and understand what we would like her to do sometimes. I may not be good at explaining what I love about her, well actually i may not know exactly why I love her too, but anyway she is just simply adorable.

She likes the way we pat her head and body, she likes running around the apartment at 110km/h, she likes to play with u, she likes to jump to reach ur hand, she likes to go out for a walk and meet her doggie frens, she likes to play with her food, she poos everywhere and sniffs at her own shit, she loves attention, she loves to eat food off ur palm, she loves to lick u on ur neck and back, she loves jumping around and on the couch........

all in all, i am beginning to love her. I don't mind visiting her and making her happy. I would buy stuff for her and I can't bear to leave her everyday. Hope that she can grow up happily with love from her owners. And please people, no matter how cute pets can be, don't have them if u can't take care of them or truly love them. They are just like children. U need to teach them, love them, take care of them, spend ur life with them and most importantly be RESPONSIBLE for them.

Been watching a singing competition and keep hearing the judges telling the contestants to "sing with your heart", "feel with your heart"...

And yes, i do agree that committing emotions/true feelings into the thing u do makes a big difference to the outcome.

But my heart is tired. "she" never stops working. Pumping blood all the blood, "she" still needs to make me feel. The love, the anger, the sorrow, the disappointment, the thrill........

in chinese we say, 用心去做."do it with your heart". Feel with your heart, love with your heart, strive with your heart........... How straining is it for "the heart"

and yes, "she" is tired now.. but can "she" take a break?...

Quantity or Quality?

Been shopping a lot lately. Or should i say have never stopped shopping since the day i was born. LOL. I m sure everyone especially girls go through a phase in their shopping "endeavour" when they decide whether to get something really expensive with good quality or go for a number of the same thing of lower prices and quality. I guess in general for men, quality comes first. While for us ladies, the style comes first. But again it also depends on the kind of item and individual.

Similarly, in this world, there are people with many many friends/ acquaintances in their social circle while some have just a few real good friends. What do you prefer if you have a choice? And also, who are you to your friends? Are you the quality friend or just one of them that makes up the number?

Recently met a friend who totally just want as many pals as possible without considering the depth of relationship he may have with them. Maybe to him, networking is the essence of his life and thats y he tries to get as many friends as possible. Meet you, get your contact and keep in touch once in a while. Or rather come to you when you can provide some kinda value to his life. Honestly, i think it wouldnt hurt to know a person like this in my life. I get no harm by knowing one more person. But I don't think I will be able to build quality friendship with such person.

So i guess.. it's good to have many friends. But one should always have a few true sincere friends around and they are the ones who will be there for you most of the time.

Got the chance to talk/chat with some friends over the past few days. I must say.. i really enjoy talking to them. It may be about funny experiences in their life or sharing thoughts on similar issue. No matter what the topic is, I just enjoy talking to friends and i mean true friends. There are times when we can just joke around and mean nothing at all. But there should be times when we share what we think and feel. Knowing that a friend will share his/her thoughts and experiences with me, I simply just feel honored to be able to share the moment with them, understand each other more and build more common topic/experiences. The essence of friendship is just that simple yet difficult to achieve.

So what kind of friend are you to the ones you care? What kind of friends do you prefer? Can we be good friend to all our friends??? These questions may seem superficial but hey look around, isnt’t the world superficially complicated?

A few years back, a fren of mine used to bully me a lot to the extent where i went to my best frens and boyfren (at that time) with tonnes of grudges and litres of tears. I hid my feelings and stayed strong till I entered the space i belong.

The same experience when i got slapped by a boy on the bus when i was just 7. I did not cry and did not seek for any help from others until I got down from the bus and ran to my mom who was waiting for me outside my place. Went right into mom's arms and burst into tears. After knowing the story from the little me who was trying to catch her breathe from all the crying, mom did bring me to confront the boy. I pulled her back and i had no idea why. He bullied me, slapped me, insulted me for no reason but yet i refused to confront him. I let it go. And i guess the oni reason i can give now is just i simply hate confrontation.

No matter how old u get, u still get bullied in many ways. Some will confront the bullies while some will not. I want to confront them but yet i don't. Bcos i suck at confrontation and i would still end up tearing or get more misunderstood.

That ain mean i can stand bullies. I hate them. To the core. I hate them not for bullying me, but for not knowing that they are ruining my life.

I don;t want to see them or face them. If i have a choice, i dont even want to know them. They strike, hurt u, walk away and leave u the mess. Subsequently, the people around u get affected.

I miss the familiar space i belong. I miss the people who love me. I miss the people who truly care for me. I miss being protected. I miss having someone to take away my sorrow. I miss having someone to tell me to stay strong and not cry for people who r not even worth mentioning in my life. I want to be just like a kid who can go to anyone and cry out loud with no worries. I miss the strong me. I miss not being vulnerable. I miss ...........

Once a friend told me: "Issues that can be solved by money are not problems." To a certain extent, I think that is true. If money can solve a problem, it will not cause you that much trouble. But of course, having enough money for every problem is impossible. Also, you may argue that money is not everything. Yes, I know. Money is not all that we need in the world, but it is definitely what we can’t live without.

I think the fundamental power that money provides us with is basically the ability to control a certain situation and also to manipulate the outcome. Just like what my friend said, if money can solve the problem, it is no big deal. So money basically allows you to control the circumstances and hence resolving the shit you are facing. In another word, I think having the ability to control whether using money or other source of ability/assets is one hell important survival need we require in this world.

I am not trying to emphasis the monetary value here. Rather, I just think that having control over something, may it be big or small, is ..well.. freaking important to me. I am sure many of us want to be able to control all that is going around us. If u have a choice, would you want to be able to control how happy you are, how much you have, what will happen to you, what friends you get, what your future will be bla bla bla. But as we realize by now, there are just so much that we cannot control.

Losing control to me is not a good feeling. It really makes me feel so so helpless. I know I want something but yet I have no power to control it in order to make it come true. It is slowly killing me now as I yearn day and night for it to happen. But it will never because I have no idea who is controlling it and more significantly, I have zero clues in influencing “the controller”. You want it but you can’t have it. You want it but you can’t get it. You want it but you can’t work towards it. You want it and you know it will not happen. That’s how I feel… and how helpless I am.

But I honestly appreciate the fact that we cannot control all parts of our life. If we can, it would be chaotic. Also, if we can, there will be no miracle, no mystery, no anticipation, no excitement, no surprise..and just no color in life.

Yes.. I am just quetching here. Gotta let it out and face the real me deep within.

*May you be able to control what you want most of the time. Even if you can’t, enjoy the journey.

Natalia & Justina's Bday

YEAH!...Pris got back from msia. And yeah, i finally hav the crazy roommate back in melb. When i moved into my new place, i already love the place so much that i wish to stay at home most of the time and i was rejecting my frens' invitation to hang out. Now that i m one street away from my two crazy classmates and the hello'kitty big fan pris is back, what else can i ask for..lol. So yes mates, i will stay at home most of the time. Gonna be so "zhai" like meimei. :P

Pris jus saw my com and commented.."finally updating huh".. and i was like.."er sorry, not really..this is like 2 months overdue... " Well seriously i tried to update as often as i could, but hmm..just cant seem to keep up to date. Partly bcos of the hectic schedule for my classes, and also bcos of ...er..i dont know. Just busy in general.

Anyways, on average students in monash do 4 units a sememster. For my course i m doing 6 per sem for both semesters. Reason being it is a 1.5 years course compressed into 1. So yes, i doing 1.5 yrs of units in a year with many units being taught in the form of block-mode, which means 5 full days of classes to complete the unit for the entire semester. And thats also the reason y i have less holidays compared to the rest. Ending the semester later than the rest while beginning classes for the next semester earlier than all as well. But well, whats there to complain about. I do like what i m learning. And am really thankful for being so fortunate for what i have now.

Sorry, got so out of the topic. Well... 2 months ago, 3 frens of mine in melb have the same birthday on the 25th of May. And celebrated their birthdays on a few occasions. First, celebrated natalia's and justina's bday on the 21st of that month. Nat's bday was at her place with the rest of our classmates and her columbian frens. It was really fun to chill with so many of them, pampered with home-cook columbian food and lively salsa music. Dancing along with mates was of course the fun of the night. Then rushed to Eve to celebrate justina(meimei)'s bday. What i can say... the music was great, crowd was cool, performance was awesome.. all in all, had hell lota fun with them. The venue, event and ambience added some spice but it was afterall the company i had that made my night. Thanks to all for rolling along. Happy bday nat and justina again. (SO SO belated huh?..P)

Sonya's graduation

It was sonya's graduation a few months back. Well darling osonphasop graduated from her biomed degree from monash last year and she is in the same master class as aku.

Osonphasop is one of the funniest girl i have ever met. She is always hyper and always funny. Her laughter will never change, in a club, restaurant or class, she will always have the loudest and contagious laughter u will ever find. It is really fun to have her around all the time.

this is so long overdue again, but of cos..congrats sonya! But i think we all just sincerely hope that we can graduate from our current master course. :P

Had four days of full intensive classes last week before everyone else officially starts the semester. Tmr second sem will start formally and again, time to mug the hell out of my next 6 months so that i can graduate n go home!

Was webcamming with grandma, grandaunt,grandpa,dad,sis and bro.. although i have been here for a few mths and i should be used to life without my family around, i still miss them a lot. I can live on my own, i can take care of myself but well, i just want the best for my family too. Grandma has lost so much weight while i gain when i m here. When i saw my dear popo who brought me up lost so much weight in such a short time, i cant help but feel really heartache. How i i wish she could be as healthy as she was when i was young. She could bring me to the market down town via bus when i was just 5. And now, i just wish she could still walk properly without feeling tired. She has always been there for me no matter what. She would sacrificed the best food for me. She would make sure i sleep tight at night. She would share her stories with me. She would always tell me to be strong....

I really love her. I am sincerely grateful to have her. I want her to be happy and be as healthy as she can be. I wish she can still be here for the rest of the episodes of my life. I hope she can see me succeed, attend my wedding, name her great-grandchild......... All in all, please god, let her be happy and healthy.

ok..thats all for now. Just got back from brisbane, goldcoast and sydney. And ya i will not be able to update about it till i have time. :(...sch for my last sem just started today and i m alredi feeling the stress. First day of sem 2..and i m alredi finding it hard to breath and wishing i could hav longer holidays. Can i graduate soon? I m so tired...:( But i know this is nothing compared to a lot of u who may be alredi working. and this is definitely not something to complain about as compared to the poor kids growing up with no or little food. I know i m lucky. I should be happy. And yes.. actually i am. I do like what i am learning and enjoying what i am learning. I am also glad that i have control over my life now.. so ya, guess my optimism can still overcome the fatigue for a while.. how long can this last? well i dont know. but if any of u ever see or hear me complaining the next time, please i dont mean it. I m contented with my life.. it's just that sometimes i m really tired. But no.. i will not let it break me. This ain gonna stop me from what i want!. go go go! gambate to myself!

Ok ..Formal exams over. Still has one more take-home exam to complete and then.. yes, slight freedom for a week.

Anyways, not here to complain or discuss bout sch work. Actually, kinda lost and have no idea wat to focus on in this post. I m still gonna post pics of what i had done a few months back but well ya, other than that.. this time round, feel like venting some stuff out. But where to start, on what exactly? ... honestly, the answer is i have no idea.

like i said in my previous post, i really get to learn a lot about people here. not as in culture. But just characters, personalities, attitudes and simply..human interaction. Dont u think human interaction is such a simple unavoidable essence of life but yet although we go through it every single day, we will never master it. I dont know whether is it just me, but i really think that it is not easy to grasp the idea of peaceful human interaction at all times. I mean, not all conversations or contacts i have with people go wrong. But there are just times when i think it's so hard to just get my message across or to understand the other party. I have no idea where to start explaining the difficulties i find/realise, let it be on me or others. Nevertheless, i think it's time for me to clear my own mind and to just let it all out.

Problem 1: When u r angry, how do u force urself to understand the other party?

- Being considerate is not hard when u have the energy/time/capability to comprehend and accommodate the other party... But how about when u have no time, u have no mood, no energy or simply jus have a conflict of interest, would u still bring forward ur consideration and sacrifice urself to make the other party happy?

Problem 2: How do u get your message across when the other party is mad??

- Dont u think getting ur message across is such a big hurdle to overcome when the person u r trying to talk to is mad or simply just too focused on one side of the issue? I can still remember the times when i tried to get my msg across to my parents or XXX, and when i just couldnt seem to do it, my tears trickled down unintentionally. And i would just give up convincing them or clarifying my points. Bcos i just couldnt do it. I would rather go, keep quiet, let it pass and then forget about it. Which is not good sometime as the underlying problems may happen again. All in all, i just find it hard to get my msg across in some circumstances.

Problem 3: Is face-to-face the best mean of interaction??

-Been talking over the phone, using skype, videocall etc more often nowadays. These new forms of digitised means of conversation definitely help to connect people from all over the world. Thus we can never say that they r bad. But they can never beat some of the features face-to-face interation has, can they?? For example, u cant exactly see the person's expression and u never get the hint from the facial expression or body language the person may have. The person may not be in a good mood and u just cant simply see it when u r not physically together. So when u crack a joke in this situation, it would probably be a bad decision. But is f2f the best? Does it breed more conflicts?? Unlike sms and instant msg when u can run through wat u were gonna say once, twice or thrice in ur mind b4 saying it. But f2f, impulsion may rule u. So?? Do u think f2f is the best? To me, i think it depends....But so what if it depends. We dont get a choice to use which forms of communication sometimes, which means we cant avoid some of the shortcomings of whichever means we have to use. So do we need to overcome ourselves mentally and emotionally to take control of the situation all the time? If so, the question is..can u do it all the time????

There r more i wish to say.. i m sorry if this post gets nowhere. I m just brabbling here. Just dont feel like keeping everything to myself sometimes.

Went to Jason Mraz Concert at Melb last april, the week after Easter Break, with Evelyn, Jimson and Jimmy. First concert in Melb... quite an experience. Well the other extraordinary thing was we had a free ride from Jono who took us there using a St John Ambulance Truck. My first time in the ambulance man. Compared to the ones in JB that Nasir and Perba have..hmm... u would know the standard. :P...

Anyways, ya.. the concert was good. Jason mraz was awesome. So was Eric Hutchinson. Their singing live was as good as the recorded ones. So cool...

Tasmania Trip Day 4

Day 4 in Tassie..

Well after having so much fun in the previous 3 days, we had finally came to an end of our tassie trip. Day4, we oni had half a day before we flew back to melbourne. But well, we totally made full use of our time by waking up early and toured around Richmond and the city.

The visiting was fun, took lotsa pics n stuff. But the most interesting thing that happened that day was that we almost missed our flight back to melb. We reached the airport 30 mins before the departure time. We had such a difficult time looking for the Tiger Airways check-in counter. When we finally found it, the counter was closed and the lady said that we werent allowed to check in as Tiger is really strict about getting their passengers check in 40 mins before the departure time. So.. we were shocked as other domestic flights have no such rules. We went pale instantly and we were really stunt. Then we start pleading the person to let us in. Pris and Elaine had such innocent looks on them and they just kep saying :" we din know..please let us in.. we have no more money and we have got no place to stay...plss...plssss..." The girl got soft-hearted of cos. And she finally let us in. Even the other staff at the other counter said that we were really lucky to have her allowing us in. Gosh.. Thank god. If not we would have to spend so much more on the tix and another night at Hobart.

All in all, the trip was really fun. I totally enjoyed every single second of it. Not only the place was such a greater visitor spot, but my girls made it a great trip as well. Thanks girl for the wonderful time!..

Second day in Tasmania, we went to Bruney island. Had to drive there and get transported via ferry to the island. The day started early after a good rest the night before. The island was such a great place to go. It was a true get-away from the city life and was enjoying every moment closer to the simple things in life. It was jus so relaxing and nice to feel the breeze, watch the nature and just simply forget about the real world.

Anyways, sch has been good. enjoying wat i am learning n stuff. Besides learning from school, i am learning a lot from everyday life as well. Well i dont know if i should say i "learn" more about different personalities or i "realise" more about people. But the point is.. i do discover a lot about people.

Everyone is different. I bet all of us understand about dissimilar personalities and characteristics. At this point in my life, i am meeting a lot of new friends from different part of the world and those dissimilarities just seem more obvious now. Not only do we differ from the choices we make, but the way we perceive things can be so diversed. I am finding it difficult to comprehend on the rationale of certain actions done by others, but at the same time i try to consider the possibilities which could have caused them to do so. Even so, i would still find some of the things..not to say unacceptable.. but definitely not something that i would do.

I do realise many friends around me feel the same way on certain issues. I admit that i have a low tolerance level to things that i can't accept or rather.. i would say.. i will not pretend to accept it if i dont like it. I know in the real world, there are times when u need to just act like.."oh well.. ya..i should be nice or i should just accept it to not offend people or make things worse" When i was working, i totally could see that in the real world. But now, i realise that.. i cant do it. When i encounter something that i am not really happy about, i wont smile and pretend like i can take it. The best i can do is just keep quiet and not say anything. And if i really cant take it, i will voice my opinion out. But there are a lot of people who can pretend that they can take it.. and gosh.. i really salute them for that. Or maybe they simply just have a higher tolerance level. All in all, i just think that "being nice" and "being true to yourself" is just a line apart. I am sure we need to choose between those when dealing with different issues, but right now, i m definitely on the "being true to myself" side.

And thats probably the reason y i am learning how to say "No" to people. I used to find it difficult to reject others, be it invitations, favors, requests etc etc. But now, if i cant do it or if i find it hard to do it or if i have to do it at other expense, i would be able to say.."sorry, i can't" This may seem really simple to some people. But i know.. it can be a difficult thing to do.. saying no to someone is tough at times. I am sure yen n pris(lai ee) will understand that. But hey, i think we r not here to please everyone in the world. We need our own space, own time, own way of living. But of cos, dont say no all the time. There r times when we should really sacrifice to help out, but when it is really out of your reach or making your life out of the way it should be, then probably saying No is the more rational thing to do.

Yesterday, i took a tram to a meeting in chapel street. At one of the stops, a really old lady was trying to get onto the tram. A kind young man lent his arm for the lady to hold onto while she struggled to walk towards the tram. It took her 5 seconds to move one step of about 10cm. She was really having difficulty walking. So she was taking a long time to reach the tram. Then after about 5 minutes, a young lady dashed from the back of the tram to the entrance, and was mumbling something angrily. I thought she was mad that no one went down to help the lady, but gosh.. she was cursing at the driver who was getting down to help the lady and was swearing saying that it was so ridiculous to wait for so long for one passenger to get onboard.

I felt really bad for the old lady and was glad that the young man and driver were so kind to help. But man, the young girl just ruined the beautiful picture of the world. U could be in a rush, but hey u dont have to curse and swear this way. U could have just get down n rush to your destination without saying mean things like this. Dont u realise that one day u will turn old and u will have a hard time too?

Sorry, it has been quite a while since i lash my feelings out in blog. So ya,...i m sorry for my disorganised post. I have so much that i would like to share but as i am writing, i have more to say and everything just all come into thought at the same time. So pardon me for the messy post.

I m realli sorry for this long overdue post. Went to Tasmania during Easter break. Had a awesome time with my girls....Enjoyed every single moment of it and would definitely recommend the place for anyone looking for a scenic place for some relaxing time...

I m sure all of u know about the Earth Hour thing a few weeks back... Had a tiny chillout at campus for the Earth Hour thing. Lighted candles, listened to music, watched some video, chilled out with housemates n pals.. bla bla bla.. It was a pretty fresh and interesting experience.I was actually amazed by how influential this campaign is. Even my dad back home who cant live without electrivity turned off most of our electricity supplies at home. And the fact that it got into Msia so well.. hmm.. i think it was great success...lol.

Had a wonderful steamboat partay with my coursemates a few weeks back too.. It was cool as I was craving for food back home so much!.. Ok finally..easter break is here!... Weeks of classes, assignments, trainings and tournaments are now taking a break. Time really flies here. I still remember telling my fren how i wish sch could start soon during orientation and now.. i m alredi half way there in my 1st sem. This adrenaline rush really had it on me ...

So yes.. really relieved to get a week off. I m so happy!.. and i m super excited about my tassie trip!.. :P... i know i have tonnes of work to finish but hey i think i need a break and i deserve a break..lol. I wanna just get out of Melb too..!

soul-searching..... and updates on vivaldi + Mooba Fest

After posting my view on knowing yourself on monday.. guess what? On tuesday during my first marketing lecture, the lecturer asked us to desribe what/who we think we are. And he just randomly picked some people in the class to tell the rest on how they wish others see themselves as. I was thinking.. OMG!.. is this really happening? i was just thinking about this yesterday.. what a coincidence. And yes after that ... i was one of the chosen ones. So i said that i wish to reach up to others expectation but at the same time, i dont need them to perceive me in their own ways, i just want to me and be who i am. Once i mentioned that, he exclaimed loudly to the class:"yes..precisely...great.. carmen.. Be who u r .. just do your best. You cant be perfect.. doing ur best is the best u can do!" At that particular moment, i was ..like.."hmm..yes i agree with u..and i am glad that i did my own soul-searching and understood myself.. but oh..does it mean that i have the mentality of a 65 year old man??" ...lol...

So anyways.... i just thought it was so coincidental to have the question coming back to me the next day in class. That proves that day-dreaming helps u prepare for class as well..:P

Alright, moving on. A few weeks back I went to Vivaldi The Four Seasons- Four concertos for violins and orchestra at St. Paul’s Cathedral. We got student tix and it was awesome. They were really good! My photos will show you how nice the cathedral is as well. And next day, went to the Brighton Beach with the Msian Caulfield Peeps. Played games, met people, enjoyed the breeze, sun and beach. Oh went with Lai Ee, Priscilla as well. My good gf back in spore during MGS times. I hadn’t seen her for about 5 years and when I came here, I just realized that she is in Monash as well. So fated!.. am really glad to meet her again and still feel like the back old days.

Sam Mun (Sammy), gf from SAM taylors came to Melb for two days as well. Along with other frens, we went to Moomba water festival along yarra river. Sam n I tried the Extreme ride at the fest.. Before we tried when we were looking at the ride, it seemed ultimately daunting. Trust me.. I was feeling scared watching it. My heart was beating so fast just by looking at it. The Sammi was so enthu about it. And ya I thought it was really worth trying. So yes we shrugged our shoulder, plucked up our courage and went for it. Basically, u get swing 360 along the main axis and on the end of the column where u seat, they swing the seats along the axis holding on to the main column. So yes.. it felt like u were getting thrown all the way up to the sky n beyond. It was hell scary. I couldn’t even see half of the things up there. I opened my eyes for like 5 secs a few times and just kept yelling like mad. Eventhough I did it once, if u ask me to play that again, I would think twice just as I did the first time. But of cos, I think I would go AGAIN!.. it was totally worth the experience. I loved it!.. So did Sammi.

Another fascinating thing about Moomba was the fireworks as well. My first fireworks show in Melb. We were just standing next to the river, right beside the firecrackers. I loved the presentation, the choreography and the set-up of the show. It was really beautiful. Cant wait for the next show!!1…

Knowing Yourself

Everyone goes through a phase of finding self-identity, knowing themselves, getting to know who they really are, and be proud of themselves. I can't exactly remember how young i was when i actually started to explore who I really am. Do u remember? Was it when you were 13? or younger? I don't know. But ironically, I think not everyone knows exactly who they are. Till now, I may still wonder for the exact words i would use to desribe myself.

Well, but undoubtedly, I think i know to a certain extent, who i am, what i want and what i do not want. I think this is a growing up process in which you compare yourself with the rest, ponder about things and come to your own conclusion. I m not saying that i only realise who i am now. But the notion i always had about myself just reinforces itself as time goes by. Sometimes bit and pieces of the picture do change but some of them just get emphazied again and again. And interestingly, u get to know more about urself that u din know in the past. At least that's what i realise.

By realising who i am, what i am..sometimes i do find myself asking questions like why cant i just be like somebody else, y cant i do what they do or y dont i want what they want? But at the end of the day, i know i wont change myself bcos of those thoughts. I may pick up some points that i think it's worth pondering about or even learning from that. On contrary, i think i would certainly not be able to comprehend some of the things people do that are never part of my life or part of what i would ever imagined doing.

Recently i have also learnt that, one's personality is formed as early as when he is 7 year old. At the point of realising the fact, i did not believe it in total. But after observing and thinking about it for sometime, actually i think it may well be a very true fact. In tackling a certain situation, I would do certain action and never take the other option while others may react differently. There are some parts in me which i think i m not as good as compared to my frens. I did acknowledged those good points and tried to incorporate them into my life. But somehow, something in me, some part of me, some nature in me just wouldnt allow me to change most essence of my personality. And to that extent, i agree that my personality was formed as early as i was 7 year old.

And for who u really r? if someone asks u that question, can u answer it in a very definite answer? I dont mean who u r as in what job u r doing, wat ur career prospect is etc, but who u r personally. I know who i am at this point in time, i know who i was in the past, i may not know who exactly i would be or rather wat part of me would change as i walk down the way. But i think i m quite sure of some or rather most part of myself.

I have no idea why all this occur to me. But i really think that i m glad to realise the importance of knowing who i am. I am Me. and i do not need to be someone else. I will learn from others but i would not want to transform into them. I want to be proud of myself and i do not need anyone else to doubt me for who i am.

The Great Ocean Road Trip

Third week of school alredi. Before school started, I was complaining to a number of my friends here that I can't wait for school to start so that I can get busy and also get it over and done with. But well, now that it is already the third week of school, i don't exactly regret saying that, but i just wish that time could slow down a little. Time just flies!.. the days past so fast. I can't even remember the first day of school now. Everthing just seemed to be in a fast forward motion.

And of cos, now i wish to have more time .. so that i can catch my breath while rushing for the piles of assignments i have. Every single unit has assignments. Every single week there is something new. Every day the stress level shoots up bit by bit. Ya i know.. most of you who r studying still r most probably feeling the same way. I am jus trying to find a more subtle way of abreacting.

Well ya.. it has been slightly more than a month since I came here. And been visiting and stuff. My new group of friends here went to the Great Ocean Road about a month ago. There were nine of us in two cars. We drove for about 3 hours to one of the beaches in Geelong. Took a short break there and then moved on to Apollo Bay for BBQ lunch. The weather was really windy and cold. So it was quite an experience BBQ-ing in that weather. and then another 4 hours drive to our ultimate destination at the Twelve Apostles, Port Campbell National Park. Once again, it was freezing cold there with slight drizzle. However the view was breathtaking. It was totally worth the time and effort. I loved it and i definitely recommend this place for any visitor to Melb.

It has been quite sometime since i felt so stressed over sch work. I mean.. hmm ..after graduation July last year, i kind dumped all the sch stress away. But oh well i m getting them back. Somehow i just feel like half of the stuff i learn in school will not be applied in the real world and i m trying to learn in a "practical" perspective. But i m not sure if thats gonna get me good marks. Like when i m studying or attending lecture, i tend to pick up stuff that i think would be applicable and kinda pay less attention on those tiny weeny details which i dont think i m gonna use them. But i guess this is not exactly good as they may well be useful for my future. Arh.. whatever.. i just need to get the "studying" feel back.

Been really busy with orientation, meeting ups, trainings and school.

Sorry..Sorry...So Sorry...

Sorry for the long-overdue update.. Sorry guys. I know.. "Hey update ur blog la.." "is ur blog dead?".. "r u really busy?"... I m sorry. Been busy AND lazy. So ya.. i m sure those r good reasons for not blogging for so damn long.

Btw.. I am in Melbourne now. Been here for about a week. Ya, just in case u still cant tell, i was busy preparing, chilling, catching up with frens, playing vb, enjoying cny, attending parties etc etc. Took lotsa photos but yet to find time to upload and update blog. And once again i m sorry. Now that i have slowly settled down and have a lil time b4 sch starts, I shall try my very best to update the stuff i did for the past few weeks..or maybe i should say.. months..:P

Starting from er... end of dec??early jan?? oh gosh.... now i really do feel so back of time. Anyways.. as usual.. i dont talk much.. and about things that happened weeks/months ago??... er.. dont think i will write long paragraphs about them...
